Jason Wermers, MS

Manager of Research Operations

Jason is Manager of Research Operations for AgencyIQ’s Life Sciences division. He assists with editorial oversight and distribution of AgencyIQ life sciences content.

Before joining AgencyIQ, Jason was a medical editor at MedStar Health Research Institute, where for seven years he served as managing editor of a peer-reviewed interventional cardiology journal and a news website that specialized in the latest developments in the field. For the previous 21 years, Jason worked as a newspaper reporter and editor including positions at The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Richmond Times-Dispatch. He holds an undergraduate degree in journalism from Northwestern University and master’s degrees in health science and regulatory science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
