Jared is the Director, Food & Chemicals Regulatory Research, at POLITICO’s AgencyIQ. Jared previously worked at the Consumer Brands Association, where he served as a subject matter expert on regulatory matters on behalf of major food, beverage, personal care, and household product brands. Prior to Consumer Brands, Jared served as the senior manager of regulatory affairs at SOCMA, focusing on chemical and environmental regulation on behalf of specialty chemical manufacturers, including implementation of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Jared also previously worked in association management and consulting at Kellen, advising a variety of clients in the building and construction products sector. He received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from George Washington University and resides in Washington, DC.
